Sauces

Rich and oozing with flavour, our recipe cauliflower cheese will ensure that you never miss out on this perfect comfort food.
Cooking time:
Oven temperature: 200 C/ Gas Mark 6
Ingredients
1 Medium sized caluiflower (cut into even florets)
Sauce:
50g/2oz Butter
50g/2oz Glutafin Select Multipurpose White Mix
450ml/ ¾ pt Milk
150ml/1/4pt Vegetable stock from cooking cauliflower
Pinch of ground black pepper and sea salt
75g/3oz Mature cheddar cheese (grated)
Method
1. Steam the prepared cauliflower over a pan of boiling water until just tender. Place in a medium size shallow oven proof dish. Reserve 150ml/1/4pt of the cooking water for the sauce.
2. Prepare the sauce. Melt the butter in a medium size pan and stir in the White Mix to make a paste. Gradually stir in the milk and continue stirring until the mixture thickens. Add the reserved vegetable stock, seasonings and three quarters of the cheese. Pour over the cauliflower.
3. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and oven cook until the sauce is bubbling and starting to brown.
4. Serve as a vegetable accompaniment or for a main meal serve with a crusty Glutafin roll.

this sounds delicious,will try it tomorrow for myself and husband who isnt coeliac but enjoys most of the coeliac recipes too...and saves me having to make two separate meals.
Definitely going to be doing this as I love cauliflower cheese :-)
